Beyonc Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos of Twins Rumi and Sir On Tour

July 2024 · 3 minute read

Update, 9:30 p.m.: Despite previous reports, Beyoncé's reps have told Buzzfeed News that the children featured in the On the Run II footage are not Rumi and Sir Carter. "It's not," the singer's team told the site. Us Weekly also confirms that the infants in the viral footage are not Beyoncé and JAY-Z's twins.

Aside from the viral photo of Beyoncé and JAY-Z holding two babies at the beginning of the show, other clips in the tour visuals appear to show Rumi and Sir Carter. In one shot, babies appear on the screen as the couple appears to renew their vows.

And in another, Bey cradles two infants on her chest while lying in bed.

But the Carters have yet to confirm if the other scenes really do feature their one-year-old twins.

Original post, 4:15 p.m.: Beyoncé and JAY-Z have blessed us with new photos of their twins, Rumi and Sir, while kicking off their joint On the Run II tour in Cardiff, U.K. tonight. Artistic images of the singer and rapper, carrying a child in each arm, appeared on the screen accompanied by the messages, "LOVE IS UNIVERSAL" and "LOVE NEVER CHANGES."

Fans freaked out over the baby surprise.

Though Bey didn't point out which twin was which, fans believe Rumi si the one on the right, with no hair, while Sir is the one on the left.

These mark rare photos of the Carter twins following Beyoncé's iconic baby reveal last July. You probably already know the iconic image from memory:

Though Bey often posts photos of her outfits and major life events on her website and Instagram, she's kept her youngest additions out of the spotlight. Rumi and Sir were born on June 13, 2017 and turn one year old next Wednesday. Perhaps the new photo was shared in honor of the upcoming occasion.

Big sister Blue Ivy, 6, has been out and about with her superstar mom at the Grammys, the Wearable Art Gala, and Coachella this year while her younger siblings have been in hiding.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z just announced their On the Run II tour in March, serving as a long-awaited sequel to their combined On the Run tour in 2014. Following tonight's performance in Cardiff, the couple will make stops throughout Europe for the next month and a half before heading to North America starting July 25 in Cleveland, OH.

We can't help but wonder if Rumi and Sir will make an IRL cameo on stage, too.
