Vanessa Hudgens announced her pregnancy in the most Vanessa Hudgens way possible.
The star showed off her growing baby bump on the red carpet ahead of the 96th Academy Awards ceremony, taking place tonight at Los Angeles’s Dolby Theatre. Page Six confirmed she is expecting her first child with husband Cole Tucker, whom she married this past December.
Hudgens wore a black long-sleeved dress—custom-made by Vera Wang Haute—with a mock turtleneck, a bodycon silhouette, and a flowing train. She paired the statement look with an array of diamond-encrusted jewelry from Chopard, including a necklace, rings, and drop earrings.

Tucker and Hudgens were first linked in 2020, got engaged in February 2023, and tied the knot in a romantic beach ceremony in Mexico later that year.
The High School Musical alum opened up about the beginnings of their romance during a May 2021 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“If I want something or someone, I’m going after them,” Hudgens told Barrymore. “I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move.”
Hudgens also recently referenced her breakup from Austin Butler, whom she dated for eight years before the two split in 2020 and she met Tucker.
“I feel like so much of my character was built from my breakups,” she said during an interview for the She Pivots podcast just before Oscars weekend. “I feel like my last breakup has really catapulted me to a very, very special place, obviously. You pushed me to the right person, which I’m so grateful for, because he’s just the most supportive, real, understanding human being that I have ever met.”
